My wife has a monthly tradition of getting a massage or facial at Glow on N and 21st and then walking around the corner to meet the rest of our family at Zelda’s for family style pizza. A friend referred us to Zelda’s 6 months ago and we’ve been going there at least once a month ever since. Zelda’s has the freshest dough and toppings. The sauce is chucky, zesty, and delicious. The pizza is old world and by far it’s the best pizza in town.

I love pizza!!! I've tried pretty much everything on the menu throughout the years and try to hit up every pizza joint here in Sacramento and I have to say they are the best tasting. Simply delicious!

Zelda's is the best home meade pizza in town. My Uncle introduced me to Zelda's about 25 years ago. I absolutely love the crust! Yummy!!!!

Zelda's has the most origninal crust flavor unlike any others. With it's fresh toppings and a crust that is our of this world.

I love Zelda's. My husband and I have been going for years but it has not been the same pizza since Zelda passed. It is a great place and has a great atmosphere but something has changed and now Chicago Fire is our favorite. They make the deep dish better than Zeldas and much more. Change the recipe back to the original, it tasted sooo much better.

Ok, the truth is I don't like pizza, somehow that collection of grease-dripping melange of meat, tomato paste and what's supposed to pass for veggies, slopped on soggy bread has never appealed to me. Pizza - ummm I'll PASS! Until I had my first taste of Zelda's! Not only did every single ingredient have it's own fresh taste, but the crust had me biting my own fingers!
I still don't like "pizza" but Zelda's in a class of it's own, one. I'd spread the word, but I'm too busy eating!

I still pop in for a pizza when in down/midtown. I used to live at 17 & P, so as college students pizza was a staple and Zelda's was just a few blocks away. LOVE IT!

Absolutely the best pizza I have had anywhere. We can only go so long before we need a Zelda's fix. Their special salad is perfect side dish.

The owner and namesake is greatly missed by all who knew her, but the fabulousness of her pizza lives on and on. Get the combo with extra heavy garlic on a first date!

I feel like I am eating in my grandmother's kitchen when I go to Zelda's. Be prepared to wait, but it is worth it. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the pizza is not the best in Sacramento, it's the best I have ever had in the U.S.

What you see is what you get as far as atmosphere is concerned. However, there is NO BETTER pizza in Sacramento, period! Zelda's is an old classic and a place I enjoy with my family!!!

Bisquick-tasting crust and bland tomato sauce...no thanks. Anyone who loves Zelda's probably hasn't had a quality Chicago-style pie like Zachary's in the Bay Area.
