Wynkoop Brewing Company

Housed in the historic J.S. Brown Mercantile building, the Wynkoop Brewing Company led the way in the resurgence of Lower Downtown. The interior boasts a warm Colorado pub feel with its hardwood floors, thick timber pillars and pressed tin ceilings. Throw in plenty of great food and park it here. Along with your standard fare of perfectly mixed cocktails, the Wynkoop Brewing Company is known worldwide for its beer. Not only was the Wynkoop Brewing Company Denver’s first brewpub (founded in 1988), but we produced 4,330 barrels of fresh beer in 1997, making us one of the largest brewpubs in the world. The ales made here at the Wynkoop Brewing Company can live on in your home too. Take home a half-gallon jug of our fresh beer.

Good food and great beer selection. Location in Lodo near Coors field and union station is terriffic :)
I always enjoy coming to Wynkoop for great beer & awesome food. It's nice that they have the upstairs for late night pool as well. It's a great bar & restaurant!!
They have a wide selection of many different styles of beer. Great brewpub atmosphere too. My favorite is their IPA but almost every beer they make is excellent.
They are the best for 4 main reasons:
1. Service (staff very friendly)
2. Food (great tasting, good variety)
3. Beer (smooth, excellent microbrews)
4. Price (prices are very decent)
Solid brews, great service and excellent food housed in a marvelous building that was saved by a man with a vision before it succumbed to the wrecking ball. Bravo!
They have the best of everything - great beer, great food and great at atmosphere!
Good beer, food is excellent, root beer is great for non beer drinkers, friendly, lively area of town.
Not only do they have the best brewed beer of any other brewpub in the city, but the location is outstanding. You can sit outside, at the bar, or dine on the patio. The upstairs is cool too. Did we mention the beer?
