Wolfe's has a superb sauce, and a surplus of character. Wolfe's can even make barbequed tofu delicious and pleasantly textured. My favourite BBQ west of the Mississippi.

There's every other barbecue restaurant in Denver, then there's Wolfe's. This place is hands down the best. Barbecue is supposed to be simple and soul-satisfying. Meat, bread, pickle spear, potato chips, and your choice of side. Wolfe's doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for barbecue that's less expensive while bringing a much higher standard of flavor, go to Wolfe's. If you're looking for a classy little joint run by a guy that's cooler than me, go to Wolfe's. If you want substandard barbecue for more money, go somewhere else.

Wolfe's is the best (and possibly only) spot for good vegetarian BBQ in Denver. His sauce is great and his smoked tofu is fantastic. Wolfe's is one of the best staple restaurants in Denver.

Wolfe's is the only place I know of in Denver where a BBQ-loving vegetarian can get a great (and cheap) meal. It's like some sort of wonderful drug. Also best carrot cake I've ever had.
