Our wine bar offers a warm and cozy environment to enjoy your favorite wine or to try something new. No detail is too small for our customers, whether we’re decanting a bottle of your preferred wine or creating a thoughtful pairing with one of our wine country dishes. Along with our gracefully accented bar, we offer an inviting semi-private room that is perfect for your business events and personal occasions.

Rich and Vince; The Brothers Tomosallio are the "meat" that holds this fantastic wine bar together. The service you recieve from them is always amazing. The wine is GREAT! They have around 2 tasting every week with a wide range of vineyards --local and international. Champagne tastings! Unique reserve wines! And lots of snacks to make this destination a one stop shop. You can even join their wine club, get a wine locker and have them populate it each month with their pick of great vino. You can get 1 white, 1 red; or 2 red; or 2 white; or... you can get 1 top quality red or 1 top quality white. Very cool concept. They even let you decide what the engraving on your locker says. Great place. A real first for San Diego in regards to concept, product and service.

Great location, Great people, Great WINE! There is always something new to try that you won't find at most places. Plus, their wine tasting events often include the winemakers themselves stopping by to lead the tasting...hello! That is incredible. I love TWE!

The wine encounter is today's cheers, except with awesome wines and great service. A real local spot with a quality wines, tastings and events. There has never been another place like it!

Honestly, the BEST wine bar in San Diego. Amazing wine in all price ranges. Owners know wine and how to find the good ones vs. the bad ones. If you have never gone, you must go. Tell them what flavors you like in wine, and they will tell you the best choices for the night.

I love the atmosphere and the many different wines offered. I especially love the wine tastings to ensure I get the best tasting wine possible. The employees are fun and enthusiastic. They know their wines and are extremely helpful with deciding the best wine for any event. Thank you Tango!!!
