Wally's Café is among the oldest family owned and operated jazz clubs in existence. It was founded in 1947 by Mr. Joseph L. Walcott. We feature live music 365 days a year. Wally's is fortunate to be surrounded by some of the nations most acclaimed institutions for educating musicians. The bands featured nightly at the club are made up of musicians from these institutions, practicing and perfecting their craft.

This is an establishment that has been around for many, many years, young and old go there and everyone of any race, color or creed is welcome. The music on Monday nights is the best I've heard and the talent that stops by is the best around !
Where else can you get live music 365 days a year? I love this place...the people are great and so is the music.
This reminds me of what good music used to be and should be. It's almost like being at home and wanting to kick off your shoes and just relax.
I came to appreciate jazz music as an undergraduate student. Wally's Cafe made that possible. It was the only live music venue I could afford because it free. Though I didn't know it then, the musicians (friends) I met in Wally's Cafe would become the muse for my first documentary. Today their music and those who came before and after them continue to inspire my work.
Wally's is like an old friend, you can leave town for a minute and when you come back it's still there, just waiting to embrace you and offer you some great hospitality.
I'm a Bostonian and Wally's Cafe represents Boston back in the day and that was a wonderful era.
Wallys cafe atmosphere is laid back with a cool jazz feel. No matter what the music; your body seems to melt away into the music that's playing and your surroundings. The warm feel blends amist the ageless regulars whether your twenty one to one hundred and one; your always welcome at wally's cafe.
