Simply the best theater in town! Wonderful shows that are very enjoyable. The talent is AMAZING!!
The shows are great, the building and grounds are lovely, and the people couldn't be more welcoming. A true *community* theatre.
Village Players is the oldest community theatre group in America (in the same location) yet the people are fun and upbeat!
Fantastic shows, beautiful sets, great group! Very professional :) A nifty place to be. You should check'em out.

The productions are always excellent, and the people are always so welcoming. Village Players may not be the largest group in the area, but they definitely are the nicest group.
For 85 continuous years, Village Players has provided a variety of musicals and plays that excite both our audiences, actors, and technical staff. We also support local playwrights as well.
Better than Broadway, this group consistently puts on great shows with local fresh and seasoned talent. They are not timid in selecting unusual works, opening up a broad array of entertainment, not just the staid and true.
Wonderful shows and a great location. Players. You can really see the quality and hard work up on stage.
BVP is the embodiment of what "community theater" is all about. The first person I met, Becky Fisher, made me feel as though I was right at home; and I'd been away for 31 years. While they take their shows quite seriously and the caliber of their productions is second to none, they never lose sight of the fact that we are all in this to share our passion for the performing arts - and on the BVP stage we can do so in the most warm, friendly, and FUN environment possible. Now in their 85th year of staging magnificent performances...they surely must be doing something very right.
Outstanding local community theater with stellar performances in an intimate setting & affordable prices.
The talent at Village Players, far exceeds the talent at any of the other theaters. Enjoyed every performance I've attended.
It is full of good, helpful people; there's a terrific sense of camaraderie; it offers a playwright support for new playwrights; it's been been functional for generations and allowed children of children to grow up in the wonderful, sleep-deprived world of community theater.
They choose good plays and their production values are very high. Very enjoyable theatre!
This group really does a great job when they tackle one of there shows. The players are well cast for there parts, and fun to watch.
Amazing talent, a true sense of community, and wonderful performances make Village Players my choice!
This not for profit organization is staffed by an incredible hard working team of volunteers who put their hearts into the success of the playhouse and their talents on the stage. They are the BEST!
Village Players attracts talented people from all over metro Detroit and presents Broadway quality shows for a fraction of the price. The Players are a fun group!
The best kept secret in Birmingham. The VP is the oldest community theater in S.E. Michigan and has been performing for 84 years.
Innovative, creative 85 year old Birmingham live theater company. They support a local playwriting group, a children's theater troupe as well as a true community theater.
The reason they're the best, they do a variety of shows drama comedy suspense musical and also I enjoyed being a member and enjoyed the people who and were involved.
They do professional-quality productions, regularly engage in charity productions for local non-profits, and are now celebrating their 86th season.
I just completed the show Pal Joey, directed by Jay Kaplan and what fun it was to work with such wonderful professional people both on stage and off stage. Thank you Village Players for your support.
