We love Village Market - they save us a ton of time by shopping without having to cross the bridge. The staff is the best - always frendly and helpful. A the vegitables are the greatest.

Village Marketplace is my favorite Gourmet Market, the staff is so helpful and friendly. They have catered some wonderful parties from the most casual to the most formal events. We would not go anywhere else!

Scoti once said to me, "We wear designer clothes on the outside to make us look good... Why not put designer food on the inside to make your body feel good! Designer clothes don't necessarily give you any real benefit, but food of exceptional quality actually has health benefits!" Hey, he's right! I think it's cool that he not only carries organic items, but that he also features LOCALLY grown produce. OK, a good wine selection helps, too.

This company is absolutely the finest of its type in the region. I stop for lunch whenever I am nearby. They feature gourmet groceries and prepared foods that simply "make your mouth water" and my family loves their bakery which is described as being" just short of divine". What I appreciate even more is that this fine purveyor has grabbed the reins on the issue of social responsibility by offering discounted designer Jute reusable grocery bags that are just the rage. This retailer really does know what the word "good" means.

Scoti helped me host a cooking class for 16 little girls, and they were thrilled! Don't know if he'd want to do THAT again, but it was fun and exciting and I didn't worry about a thing. I asked him about a couple interesting ingredients I needed, and he said, "Yeah, I have that." Of course, he has everything! When I shop with my kids, I love to see them pick out treats that are healthy & fresh. They love to grind their own peanut butter, and they say, "Uncle Scoti has the best store!"

Scotti catered a 50th birthday at my house, not only was the food super but his calm and expertise made it seem like an old friend dropped by to cook a perfect meal (for 50) ! Love the market and the wine tastings wish there were more.

I went in Village Marketplace for the first time the other day. I have been back 3 times since then. Never have I been treated so well during a shopping experience. Everyone working there is so friendly. Their cafe is outstanding and I can get all of my vitamins at a better price than when I used to travel up to a health food store on PGA. Thank you for having such a great store.

I find it hard to believe that the above comments are about the same place that I have visited. Maby just bad luck on my part, but on each visit I found the staff (with a few exceptions) to inattentive and aloof. I usually have gone in the evening. Perhaps the attitude is better in the daytime.

The Village Market is my favorite gourmet shop in the area. Clean environment, friendly staff, fresh ever-changing varieties of gourmet foods and my favorite - Frank the Wine Guy - all make shopping there a treat.

Scotty is the ultimate Chef and knows that fresh is best! It never hurts at the end of a busy day, to know that all you need for a wonderful dinner or late night snack, it there waiting for you. The BEST !!
