I'm from South California " The Valley " Moved out here in 90. This is THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TOWN !!!!!!!!!!! Tried almost all the others....Hands Downs NO ONE can beat ....Villa y Zapatas Jim M. Lyndhurst

you just wont find better AUTHENTIC home cooked mexcian food in Cleveland. The competitors that I have visited deep fry too much and distort recipes for american tastebuds. If you want excellent authentic mexican food then Villa y Zapata is the place to go! p.s. the maragaritas are the best in town!!!!!!

I have been eating at Villa y Zapata on Madison Ave. for at least 30+ years, while I still lived in Cleveland. I moved to Brunswick 30 years ago and still make the trip occasionally. I hadn't eaten there in quite awhile and just recently visted again -- this is still my most favorite Mexican resturant!!!!!!

I have eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants in town, and many across the country, Villa y Zapatas' is simply the best!
The rellenos are delicious, salsas great, the rest of the menu is superb. The service is also fantastic, they make you feel at home as though you're part of the family.

I have been going there regularly since 1987. I love their Chili Rellenyo...I can't spell
you know, Stuffed pablano pepper with moneray jack cheese and covered with their great sauce...EXCELLENT!

Nothing like Villa Y Zapata! It's the best Mexican restaurant in town. Authentic, rich tases and aromas abound! I can't say enough about this classic Cleveland Mexican restaurant except that nothing in town compares. We simply love it!

When it comes to Margaritas there isn't one better than Villa's. And when it comes to the food their chile relleno can't be matched. I have been eating Mexican food for more than 20 years and have tried it in all parts of the country including the southwest and have never had a better Chile Relleno than at Villa Y Zapata. And when it comes to the rest of the menu be sure to give the wet burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas and flautas a try. And when you do be sure to ask for the green sauce, there's nothing like it in town. But before you get to the entree be sure to order the chips, salsa and the best guacamole you've ever tried! No matter what you order you're sure to be pleased at Villa Y Zapata.

Everything is authentic...It is by far the best Mexican food in Cleveland. I know people come from out of town for their food. My daughter was on her way home from Florida and asked that I have some Villz Y Zapata waiting for her when she arrived.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this GREAT place. The food and service is wonderful. The food is always fresh and the guacamole is out of this world. I eat there at least once a week,and it's good each time. If you haven't tried it, you must make it a priority to do so.

I've eaten Chile Rillenos all over the United States and Mexico and I have yet to find any that were as good. This is true Mexican cooking at it's finest.
