An iced coffee and chocolate glazed donut from Verna's is just about the only way to start your day. I used to work over by Verna's and they are without a doubt some of the nicest people in the fare city of Cambridge. Most of the people that work there have been Cambridge residents their entire life and know just about everything there is to know.

There was a scare that they were going to be closing up shop, but they were saved. They doubled their space with more seating and some additional baked good.

Those big chains (you know what i'm talking about) dont' have anything on this place. Best donuts, best iced coffee (brewed extra strong) and the nicest people this side of...anywhere!

The donuts are fresh and high-quality. No cheap fillings. They are not greasy. The cake-like donuts are not airy, and taste like donuts.

I've been a total coffee and donut freak my whole life. And believe you me, when I need that coffee and donut shop fix, I bolt to Verna's. I'm talking about coffee and donut shop heaven there.
