Chef-Owner Alessandro Carollo was born in Palermo, on the northern coast of Sicily. When he was a little boy he became familiar with cooking through frequent visits to his grandfather’s kitchen where he would learn old family recipes. At the age of 14 he enrolled himself into a culinary school and after five years of study he began to work in traditional Sicilian restaurants like Francu u Piscaturi in Porticello and then in prestigious restaurants throughout Italy like the Grand Hotel in Florence. Though Alessandro was making quite a name for himself in Italy his real dream was to pursue a career in the United States, his dream became a reality when he moved to San Diego California and worked at a restaurant called Tuscany in La Costa. After two years he started to work for Il Fornaio and it didn’t take long for this young talented chef to take over the kitchen, and after six months he was promoted to Chef-Partner and worked for several of the chains locations. After four years Alessandro, with the support of his wife Sara, who is also Sicilian, decided to take a chance and open his own restaurant. Drawing from all his experiences and natural talents and now with the freedom to create and the ability to express himself through his dishes without any limitations, Alessandro, with Sara’s hard work and encouragement was able to open a second location in less than one year. So now even more guests can dine at Venice and enjoy the experience of Alessandro’s ability to provide true authentic Italian flavor in every dish.

Delectable food by Italians from ALL over Italy!! Finest and largest wine selection in the city. Chef's kitchen table, superb service, upscale ambiance and FUN. Great value for the quality and quantity of food. You just can;t go wrong.
I love this place. While some may not rate this very high becuase it's not a pasta and red sauce place, I love the Northern Italian food. Service is fabulous and the wine list is very good. The gnocci are pillowy puffs of potato.
authentic, fabulous food and great wine. i've been to all three restaurants in the chain, and have never had better meals in denver!!!
Venice Ristorante is just as if we were having a meal in Italy with great food, wine, and service!
This place is amazing! The food, especially the Carpaccio al Gorgonzola was the best I have ever had! The table setting and just the whole atmosphere is so welcoming.
We love Venice Ristorante.
Every time we go there is like family.
The food is always consistent as well the service.
Consistently excellent food, warm friendly atmosphere and great service. This is the one restauarant in town I take all my out of town guests to. We are never disappointed.
Pople who pick maggiano's and cinzetti's obviously have never had an expensive, authentic italian hand made meal from venice!!! what the hell?? why not just put macaroni grill on there too, will come in 1, 2 and 3. retards.
My favorite place to go, the staff are so friendly and gracious.
The food and wine are top notch too.

Simply the best. A good value, wonderful atmosphere, pasta is superb, the desserts are to die for - I am shooting myself in the foot by voting because then I'll never get in but excellence must be pointed out. I have never had a bad meal there.
Venice (both restaurants) are the best places where to eat real Italian food and Alessandro and his staff are so friendly and professional. I'm Italian and therefore I know very well Italian food so I enjoy the food and atmosphere at Venice every time I go there.
From management to the bar back, Venice exudes hospitality, class, service and, most importantly, the most delicious Italian menu selections in the city.
