We are Vault of Midnight, located in Ann Arbor MI on Main Street! We're a local, family owned business that's been around since 1996! Our new location has 2 floors, and three times the space of our old one. We, here at the Vault, are dedicated to spreading the love of cool stuff wherever we possibly can. Our staff has an unparalleled passion. Come on in, chat us up...we love to talk. We sell comic books, graphic novels, trade paperbacks, manga, action figures, statues, dvds, t-shirts, posters, art prints, and tons of sweet, vinyl things from Kid Robot, StrangeCo, Critterbox, and Toy2R.

My husband and I just moved from Ann Arbor to Eugene, OR. We both agree: the number one thing we miss, the one thing that can't be replaced: The Vault.

They rock! I called them before i moved here to make sure that there was a shop where I could get my books to read. If they hadn't been here... I don't know if I would be either.

My BF is from Spain and he comes twice a year and the one place he can't miss in America is Vault of Midnight. I love this place even though I don't get to go as often as I wish. Keep up the good work! I need to go pick up the rest of The Sandman series soon :)

This is not your common everyday Comic store. The Vault of Midnight is an amazing outlet of comics, graphic novels, memorabilia, and games that you will not find anywhere else. To top that, the VoM's employees are the most knowledgeable and engaging people you will find ANYWHERE! This is where I go for ALL my game and comic needs!

a great place to get anything comic related. the people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. every time my husband and i go onto main st he makes sure we go into vault of midnight.

Amazing space right on Main St. GREAT selection of games, statues and all things PVC. Lots of graphic novels and they've got your new comics covered. Not the place to go to dig through boxes looking for that NM copy of Devil Dinosaur #3, but they are sure to have the uglydoll you need as a last second gift. I love swinging through here after a night on the town (they're always open late!)

I've been to comic shops in NYC, London, Chicago, France, Italy, etc... and the Vault is by far the coolest shop I've seen. They carry the stuff they like, and love to talk about it. Books, art, toys, zombies, witty banter. This store is THE comic book destination spot for both the midwest and the eastern seaboard.

My daughter is 15 and is always searching online for certain comics/manga. When we found the Vault of Midnight, my daughter was in heaven! They had everything we would normally have to order online. The store was filled top tp bottom, front to back with everything you can imagine the BEST of the BEST, and what a variety, to!
The owners, on top of it were amazing people, themselves. Not only very friendly, fun, and smart, unique and inviting. "The Vault of Midnight" has so many events, gatherings, you feel like you've been going there forever, like you've always known the owners... they love everyone!
I rate "The Vault of Midnight" 5 stars. You can't find a comic book store like this around. We will forever be faithful customers of The Vault! We wear our T shirts proud! Sara V

5 1/2 years ago I wasn't happy about leaving Madison Hts and Tom's Comics and More. The first thing I did in Ann Arbor was go to the old Vault of Midnight in a basement on Liberty. What I found was a warm zesty family run store by two of the most genuine people in Ann Arbor, Liz and Curtis. They moved into a rockin location on Main Street, through those blue doors is a whole other world. They have art shows, vinyl toy contests, support independent comics and local artists, the indy business kick ball league, costume picnics, settlers of catan tourneys ets. They even bared with me when I had no income and an insane stack of subscriptions I couldn't pay for, and then "lost" them during the move. This store revolutionized me as a comic book reader, and it is THE number one place I will miss when I leave this town in September. I might even cry...imaginary tears.
And as for the prices, membership is free with the 20% knocked off, if you don't subscribe its cover price. And when you look at the shelves upon shelves of graphic novels, you tend to forget about budgets and incomes until after you've emptied your wallet on 10 Preachers and Four Lone Wolf and Cubs.

cool store with cool merchandise. you HAVE to mark them comics down though for non-members. most stores do. I stop here whenever I am in A2. always good to find one or two items I may have missed at my regular store... but the prices are killer (in a bad way).
