I love the scene at Cuffs. The bar itself has two floors and is appropriately termed an upscale Irish Bar. The crowd is mid 20-30 range and reasonably well dressed. Cuffs certainly isn't pretentious but it's one of my go-to spots when the night calls for a relaxing conversation bar. There seems to be only one bar, so getting a drink at the bar can be difficult at times, but the table service seems to be good.

Definitely the best new bar in Boston for 2007-8. It begins with a great menu with home-style dishes prepared by a first class chef. The evening scene is something that is so unique to Boston. The music (great jazz) has a presence but certainly doesn't overpower. Great one-of-a-kind spot that I hope more people discover.

Fantastic and reasonably priced comfort food in a location that simply cannot be beat. Stephanie's doesn't have a defined ambiance, it's just kind of a place where people can go and enjoy food and each other with no frills. For dinner, the warm brioche goat cheese, pecan and pear salad is a must. The wait for brunch can be a while, but the food is always worth it.
