Forget 2nd Street...More like 2nd rate.
We have eaten at many Indian places both in
Philly and around the area.
For price, freashness, and consistantly great Indian food, New Deli is excellent.
We work right next door, and have eaten there literally over 100 times.
Never was the food under par, and the servers are very nice as well.
Once you try New Deli, you will wonder how some of the "Sanjay come latelies"
even call themselves Indian. Shapsjo.

No one else even comes close. No gimics, no hype, Dalessandro's has the freashest, tastiest, best cheese steaks, hands down in Philly. Add in the amazing hot peppers served counterside and the vintage setting plus exemplary service...Man, I just wish every cheese steak I ever had was this good! Shapsjo

Down Home Dinner....Best Southern Inspired Dinner in Philly.
Too bad it is not 24 /7 since it is in the Reading Terminal Market,
but the upside is the rest of the market is one of the coolest places
for food, and other sundries in town. This is a must see location in
Philly and we are darn lucky it has not lost it's authentic farmer's
market charm.
