This mom and pop seafood shop in Quincy is hands down the best place for fresh seafood in Boston and on the South Shore. Since 1979, the Burke's have been serving up seafood favorties, such as lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail, fish and chips, fried clams, and delicious seafood chowder. They also have an impressive showcase filled with the freshest seafood selection around - haddock, wild and farm-rasised salmon, tuna steaks, halibut, oysters, lobsters, scallops, etc.
My husband and I love the lobster rolls, broiled dinners, fish and chips, and seafood chowder. They also have great frozen appetizers - scallops wrapped in bacon, crab cakes - which we love for entertaining.
