A pie from Pizzeria Regina is a very good thing. Most people in the Boston area only know of Regina's pizza from mall food courts. While the name is the same, the pizza isn't. The original location on Thatcher St. in the North End makes the BEST thin, crispy pizza on the planet.
I don't usually mess with toppings, but if I do, maybe spinach or pepper and onion -- there's no need to get all fancy -- the pizza speaks for itself. The wait can be long, the waitstaff can be downright rude, but it is the experience and it is always worth it.
The Burren can truly be one of the best bars in Boston; there are nights with good music, good-hearted people just looking to relax and have a good time. My complaint is that its hit or miss too often. Whether its the students in town or the locals that just want to get trashed, the atmosphere changes and I generally leave. When its good its great and when its bad its awful. Take your chances.
