I took my golden retriever/std poodle mix to Sit! twice. The first time we wanted a basic service (bath, nail clip, trim of the hair around her paws, eyes, and rear end). We asked only that her eye brows and snout not be trimmed - at all. When we picked her up, she smelled amazing and was so soft, but her forehead had been shaved down and her snout was trimmed. She looked ok, but just not what we wanted at all. We thought that we had been very clear, but chalked it up to a miscommunication. The next time we brought her in for a full service grooming and I BROUGHT PICTURES of EXACTLY what I wanted so that this time it would be perfectly clear. The groomer seemed to dismiss the pictures as he hardly glanced at them. When we picked her up we were not happy. She basically looked exactly opposite of what was in the pictures. We had to take her to another groomer (Animal Lovers on Clybourn is AMAZING!) the next day to fix what Sit! had done. In addition to the poor cut she was given, her ears were not plucked and the hair between her paw pads was not trimmed. That's just basic stuff that is supposedly included. I do not recommend Sit! to anyone. We asked for some really basic things and they simply could not deliver. In addition, the sales girl is annoying and tries to sell you everything in the store.
Also, don't write a negative review of Sit! on CitySearch. If you do one of their employees will write one right after you saying that your review is ridiculous and that the poor grooming job is somehow your fault.
