Known for being a bit more upscale than your standard barbecue joint, but would you eat lamb ribs or a beef short plate of ribs with a plastic fork? Their barbecue is absolutely the best I've sampled in over 10 states. Just walking in gives me the chills smelling that smokey flavor in the air. Try their beef burnt ends with a large side of those hickory pit beans. How do they make those beans taste so GOOD! To be clear, their name is Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue. My favorite location is still Jack's original place in Martin City at 135th and Holmes. Very quaint and homespun on the outskirts of town. The service is top-notch at any of their restaurants. Very knowledgeable staff to help make your visit perfect. Try 'em, you'll love it.

With all due respect for this barbecue house, it was started by the former manager of Jack Stack Barbecue (formerly named Smoke Stack Barbecue) back in the late 80's. Heck, they even stole part of their name. Every barbecue recipe came from Jack Stack, so why settle for 2nd best at Smokehouse when you can go straight to the source of their success.
