Perhaps I am biased because I used to work here, but the food is great! The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are smart, funny and excellent at what they do. There are 7 banquet rooms that can be rented out for any occasion and the main dining room is large and gorgeous. The portions are enormous and the prices are very affordable. I cannot imagine anyone walking away disappointed with Maggiano's.

This place is amazing! It is on the smaller side, but the food is awesome and the prices are right. I ordered a glass of sangria and it came out with a slice of lemon, lime, pineapple, orange and a cherry. I have been here several times and will continue to go. It's great for lunch or dinner. Definitely check it out.

The Summer Shack has quality seafood but the price tags reflect that. Be prepared to spend a lot. I wouldn't say this would be a place you would just casually go to. Unless you don't like lobster!

I got my first tattoo here and Sue is an absolute sweetheart! She is patient, kind and professional. When I needed a touch up, she came in on her day off! Sue is incredibly talented and the best of the best.

This is one of my 2 favorite cafes in Allston. The owners are really sweet and helpful people. They have delicious sandwiches, individual tea pots, tasty coffee and free wireless. It is constantly packed, day or night, because the owners are extremely welcoming and don't seem to mind if you stay with your laptop for hours.

I love going to the Super 88 for a bite! It's basically a giant food court with tons of seating and several asian cuisines to order from. The food varies from authentic and unique to typical asian dishes. It's a great place to get bubble tea and sit down with your laptop. It's noisy, but fun.

Who doesn't know Sonsie? I have been here many times and impressed with the quality of food each and every time. It is on the pricier end but that is to be expected on Newbury Street. Whether you go during the day or for dinner, you will enjoy it. Sonsie works for all occassions: a romantic dinner with your partner, catching up with girlfriends or taking your mom out to lunch!

I remember when Croma burned down. My friend and I are were very disappointed to see it go. It's back now and still great! The atmosphere is beautiful and the Newbury location is fun. There is a goat cheese salad there that is so delicious, I order it every time.

Though it is on the smaller side, it has a room with comfy couches. The music is good but pretty loud, and not much space to dance. People are well-dressed and the drinks are expensive. There is a small patio outside to take a break from the music.
