PlaceSettings.com is undoubtedly the worst online vendor I have ever encountered -- and I shop online A LOT.
I placed an order from this company on December 22, 2007. They never sent my $492 purchase, nor did they contact me to say there was a problem. When I tried contacting them, they did not respond to my phone calls or emails. They simply took my money and disappeared.
About two months after I placed my order, I filed a complaint with the BBB and said I wanted to cancel my order and get a full refund. Lo and behold, I received my first email ever from PlaceSettings.com the next day. They promised to cancel my order and refund my money. But alas, that refund has never come.
Now PlaceSettings.com will not return my emails or phone calls again, and they refuse to refund my account. There is a word for this: theft.
Unless you want to be robbed, stay away from www.PlaceSettings.com!
