I'll be upfront and admit that this place doesn't' have the best fish and definitely not the best sashimi, but the rolls are creative and the atmosphere is great.
Two items of note: (1) the Dragon Roll is quite tasty -- the tempura shrimp is just lovely. (2) I think I may be in LOVE with the ecuador roll -- you just can't go wrong with yellow tail AND tuna.
The Kamehachi in Old Town is my personal favorite spot for Sushi in Chicago. Go upstairs for a more laid back feel, but don't be afraid of downstairs! Wherever you sit, try the Green Turtle Roll: crunchy tempura flakes with eel and shrimp and a delicious sauce.
