The food is authentic and delicious. All the dishes well prepared with fresh ingredients and the flavors are creative and incredibly tasty. Eating there is a wonderful experience and it's also a great value.

Fresh, lively, authentic Mexican cuisine, prepared with respect for traditional family recipes. Beautifully presented. Consistently outstanding. Warm waitstaff, not too intrusive. I love it every time we go, which is fairly often.

Authentic Mexican cuisine renewed monthly to offer a diversity of choices in several categories (vegetarian, poultry, meat, seafood). Many are featured in pepper-based motif; all have marvelous sauces as accompaniments. Menu selections show creativity in blending the best features from family -originated Mexican recipes adapted to North American tastes. Weekend brunch features imaginative egg dishes, augmented with the bean and whole pepper based sides, which are usually part of the dinner menu. Changing of food selections on monthly basis offers the frequent diner options without the restrictions of fixed menu choices. A real treasure in casual dining in the heart of Somerville!

Tu Y Yo is absolutely delicious! The food is as authentic as I have ever had in the United States but also very unexpected with wonderfully exotic combinations. This isn't your typical take-out Mexican place. The atmosphere is lovely and the service exceptional! Try the Sangria!

The menu offerings are not at all the standard Mexican restaurant fare, and they are all delicious. The one negative: the one small room can get *very* noisy.

Unique and flavorful, authentic Mexican dishes. The owner frequently comes to visit tables. Incredible sangria, and unique Mexican experiences like cactus paddles and huitlacoche.

Food is always excellent. Always different dishes to choose from. The quality of the food is the highest. Great family recipes. The staff is extremely earnest to please the customer. I have taken many friends and family to this restaurant to experience the food. This is gourmet food.

Well I'm from Mexico and have tried several different mexican restaurants, and this is the best and more authentic flavor from Mexico, I live in Maryland and every time I go to Boston to visit relatives I have to go for dinner to Tu Y Yo. The Best!!!!!

Tu Y Yo is not your everyday Mexican. We have taken every person who has visited us from out of town to Tu Y Yo and all agree, it was the best and most authentic Mexican food they have EVER had! Guzman, the owner, is always ready with a suggestion for the best dish and could qualify as the 'Authentic Mexican Food Nazi' ala Seinfeld 'Soup Nazi'. He's never wrong.
