We live out in Los Angeles and whenever we`re in the area we make it a point to stop and eat here. The food is wonderful and the ambiance is just so old world that I feel like I`m eating in Italy, The owner who`s name I think is Tore` is a very nice guy and takes care of all our needs. We don`t know much about wine but he always recommends something really wonderful at a reasonable price. These people really know what they`re doing when it comes to the food. The food and presentation are OUTSTANDING, no wonder they`ve been in business over 15 years, they must be doing something right. Good luck Trupiano`s hope you win. You deserve it!

This restaurant is hands down THE BEST in north county. I eat here with my family at least once a week and have been coming her for the last 13 years. Salvatore is very down to earth and makes you feel very welcomed here not because he`s the owner he makes you feel like family but because he is genuine and caring. When I dine there with my family he remembers our name and make us feel important. I will continue to dine here win or loose, but I know he will win. Thank you Trupiano`s

What a wondeful loving family that runs this resturant. We have been going there at least once a week for several years since we moved to North Couty. My son drives from Burbank just to get his Trupiano's fix. I travel all over the world with my job and always stop on my way home from a business trip to finally get a meal full of wonderful flavors. It is #1 in our books.

The food is tasty. The staff is friendly. Relaxed clean dining room. I make sure to take my house guests to Trupiano's at least once while they're visiting...and now it's on their list of "things to do" in Oceanside.

Trupiano's had really good italian food. Oceanside is fortunate to have it in their neighborhood and they also have really good pizza. Good job Salvatore! This review is from a true Scilian.

While visiting trupiano's one sunday evening i entered the restauraunt and i noticed right of way how authentic and family oriented it was. Not to mention the wide variety of great entrees and stupendous wine selections. The services was extrodinary as well as friendly, i felt my family and I were treated with such a welcoming manner that i will return at least twice a month. The taste of the food made me feel as if i were in italy.

My family has been dining at Trupiono's since before it was called Trupiono's. This fine establishment was originally opened by the family patriarch, Dominic Trupiano about 18 years ago but his son Salvatore has taken the dining experience here to new and delightful levels. In my opinion this is the best Italian that San Diego Co has to offer and I'm very very fussy about my Italian food. The Trupiano Special pizza is a must try and Tore's sauces are to die for. There are no bad selections on the menu so anything you try will probably be the best you ever had.

I have lived in Oceanside now for 3 years and what an incredible find.Easy location and the food ,spectacular.Trupianos award winning Pizza is excellent and my favorite is the Red clam Linguini.It's like no other!!!!

Hands down the best authentic Italian in San Diego. Their marinara sauce is better than mama's.

The food is superb and nicely presented. My favorite is the veal marsala. The decor is casual chic and the staff is friendly. They have a wide selection of menu items and you are always treated as a valued customer. I love Trupiano's Italian Restaurant.

After living in Italy for three years, I yearned for authentic Italian food. Fortunately, I discovered Trupiano's several years ago and have been able to satisfy my cravings whenever I want! My family and I enjoy dining here frequently in the lovely, friendly, casual atmosphere.

... Great dining experience, excellent meal choices with respect to lunch and dinner.. even on the go. Yep, you can call ahead and pick it up to go, and the most beautiful thing is the service, the staff treats you like family. Price... compliments the food (which is excellent).

Trupiano always goes the extra mile to make your dining experience unique and delicious. The lasagna noodles are like no other. This place is a great neighborhood staple for lunch and dinner.

I live in michigan but when i come to San Diego I also goes to trupiano's the food is not only authentic, very warm atmosphere, respectful people, and i am always very satisfied with my meal. Tore is a very true loving and caring man that he makes sure that everyone is happy. I recommend everyone to go and experience a true Italian restaurant. You will not be dissapointed.

A 3 to 5 star experience in detail and great customer service is what I seek from state to state as well as country to country. Trupiano's satisfies all my personal tastes with excellent, fresh, and well organized meals. If I could eat the empty plate....I would!!!

I have not only eaten in the restaurant but have also enjoyed the outside catering by the masterful chef in my home for large parties. Always magnificent, the staff and the cuisine never fail to satisfy!

This is the best Italian restaurant in North County. The prices are reasonable, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. The chicken (and veal) marsala are the best I've ever had--and I've had it in a lot of restaurants throughout the world.
The complimentary bread sticks right out of the oven (and soft and delicious) are a great touch.
I couldn't even count the number of pizza places I've visited over the years, but Trupiano's is at the top of my list. I'm a "crust" person--it's the most important part to me, and the crust here is extraordinary. When I complimented the owner for his pizza, he told me it recently won awards at a national competition in Las Vegas , and if you visit the restaurant and try it, you'll understand why!
