Comfort. good study music, good coffee, friendly staff, sincerely delicious food...and small and quiet. a great find. I found my true ground at true grounds.
Hands down THE BEST coffee shop in the country. Delicious and lovingly made coffee drinks, yummy treats, free wireless, friendly staff -- wouldn't change a thing!
This is a truly local spot where the barristas know the regulars' orders before they place them and dogs and children (only the well-behaved versions of each) are welcome. The lattes are always perfect, the assortment of teas is divine, and their rotating soups are all homemade and fabulous. But it's really Amy and Rhett (the owners) who make the place what it is. Where else could you have your latte made by the owner in the morning and find them still there 12 hours later to make your sandwich that night?
Great atmosphere, laid back, quiet, and the best coffee in town. Friendly faces and fun people. Very pet friendly...treats are always kept behind the register.
Great, friendly service, welcoming of children, families, students, artists ,and great food too.
The staff is friendly and the atmosphere has a calming effect on you. Especially after a hard day a the office. Love the art work that changes weekly.
True grounds is the best coffee shop west of the Atlantic because they always greet you with a smile, they remember your name, and they are very accommodating with special orders... and I haven't even mentioned how awesome the food or how cozy the atmosphere is!
Wonderful drinks, the VERY BEST baked goods and the very nicest people working behind the counter.
Great Atmosphere. The owners know by name probably 75% of the costumers. New artwork displayed every month. Not just coffee, but great food. I've been to the rest of these places nominated, and they are good, but True grounds epitomizes the Boston cafe. It has a great blend of local and college feel.
The owners and employees are all very friendly- they always have a greeting and a smile, and a bone for your furry friends! They also have the best scones anywhere!
Not only does True Grounds have great coffee, sandwiches and bakery items, but the owners, Amy and Rhett, have worked hard to create a great place for students, professionals, and families alike to go to.
At True Grounds, they're very, very serious about the coffee, while still maintaining an inviting atmosphere for everyone. This is the first place in a long, long time to remind me of the late, great Coffee Connection.
Great neighborhood feel. They know their customers and its not unusual to have your coffee handed to you before you've placed your order! Rhett and Amy know how to make a cafe au lait that can't be beat. As for the food, they have great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a breakfast bagel to get you through the day. Not to mention the homemade banana bread, and all the cookies, scones, and muffins.
True Grounds is the best....laid back, free internet, excellent coffee, and great menu! Home away from home...Amy and Rhett are great too! :)
It's the best cafe ever!!! The coffee is delicious, the owners are friendly, it's comfy, and the most delicious food!
No attitude, no noise, no fake Italian names or tiny Euro cups. Just the best coffee in the city, served in big mugs, with miles of smiles behind the counter. Lose the 'tude--go True!
Great teas, soups and sandwiches. Like Cheers without the booze -- there's always someone there who knows your name.
