Trivia Night in Boston

Guide to the best Trivia nights in Boston. Stump does their thing across the city and its OK, but these are independents that do their own thing.
-
Red Hat
Red Hat does trivia Wednesday night. Smaller crowd is more manageable, great host that has all of his own questions. Good mix of current events, and general knowledge. Free popcorn and half priced apps all night long!
-
PJ Ryan's
This is like retro-80's trivia. Same guy does it every week it starts late (10) but it's very good trivia -- usually really hard. Tons of Tufts students and Medford/Somerville locals.
-
Matt Murphy's Pub
Matt Murphy's does Wed night Trivia that starts at 10pm. Long thought to be one of the hardest trivia nights in Boston. Bring your smart friends.
-
The Publick House
Sunday night -- kind of a new thing -- never done it, just been there when they had it going.
-
John Harvard's Brew House
Monday Night at 9pm I believe. Really hard questions, tough competition, always packed with smart Harvard people.
-
The Druid
Druid trivia night (Wed) has a good reputation. I went a long time ago and remember it being pretty good.
What other people are saying about this guide:
Goody Glover's has great trivia. I think it is Wednesday nights. And for all of those Southie residents, the Seapoint on Thursday nights is the best in town.
Good to see John Harvard's get mention -- you do get a later start, but the competition is heated -- half priced appetizers too.
Not positive what nights but I know T's and Cleary's both have trivia nights as well during the week.
