I LOVE this place. Not only is it convenient walking distance, but the food is fantastic. We have never been dis-satisfied. We eat there at least once a week.

This place has the freshest food ! I'm super fussy about mexican food, especially seafood dishes. Tres Locos has the BEST shrimp & veggie fajitas. If you don't live in the area, it's totally worth the drive...( w/ a DD- the margaritas are awesome too! )

Don't get me wrong, downtown Mexican restaurants are amazing. However, I live out in New Berlin and enjoying downtown life is difficult.

The food is authentic and fresh - delicious. Wait staff are friendly and accomodating. Family friendly atmosphere. Bar and dining room are separated by a hallway so that cigarette smoke does not bother those eating in the dining room. Even if you do eat/spend time in the bar, the smoke is not noticeable. Very clean.
