Tizi Melloul's Mediterranean menu starts with tempting appetizers like fire-roasted mussels with warm harissa butter and grilled calamari stuffed with merguez sausage. Baba ghanoush, zesty tapenade and tabbouleh add up to a flavorful salad course; entrees range from grilled lamb loin with artichokes and fava beans to marinated duck breast with lentils and applewood bacon and brine-cured grilled pork chop with spiced carrots, raisins, pine nuts and tomato marmalade.
