Great ‘Q’ comes from all over the United States and while each region may have its own local favorite recipe, the Q Shack is the one place where North Carolinians, Texans and even Mid-Westerners feel right at home with versions of their down home favorites. The secret lies in our own special recipes and our on-site barbecue pits, where all of our meats are slow cooked and smoked to perfection. We work closely with our local farmers and suppliers to assure that only the highest quality cuts are delivered. For our pork products, we buy directly from local, independent hog farmers who raise their hogs free-range, without the use of antibiotics or hormones. We buy organically grown vegetables whenever possible and insist on buying only farm fresh produce.
