The Pub is the next best thing to actually visiting Ireland. The food and drink is terrific; the atmosphere wonderful and inviting. Bernie and Aelred have made it a very special place!
Interesting variations on standard fare - soups are phenomenal. Appetizers consistently good (try the spinach and artichoke dip or the cheese platter) and you can have the most properly poured pint you'll find anywhere. Read the nightly specials carefully or you'll miss some wonderful, surprising combinations of fresh ingredients.
Great irish music sessions on Thursday nights
The atmosphere is outstanding at the Pub! It's like sitting in the streets of Ireland. The food is good and the beer is great, and the Pub is always full of people that I know. The menu offers casual pub food, irish food, and some very sophisticated and elegant items, too. They even have great salads, cockles and mussels, irish cheeses, and Bernie's home-baked Irish soda bread and desserts. The live entertainment just adds to the atmosphere and fun. This is definitely a favorite meeting place in Oconomowoc, and you can bring the whole family any time. Best of all are the host and hostess, Aelrod and Bernie! They know the names of practically everyone in Oconomowoc, and always stop for a chat. What warm wonderful people. We are so glad that they decided to settle here.
The Pub in Oconomowoc offers a taste of Ireland in a delightful decor. The food is prepared with skill and attention to detail. Try the Irish Stew with a Guinness or perhaps order the cod cakes instead of your usual fish fry. The Grilled Shrimp Salad is not to be missed. Enjoy great music on Thursday nights along with your signature Pub Pizza. This place rocks!!

The owners and staff are very nice and really go the extra mile to make every experience spectacular. They are more than willing to alter meals for people with food allergies (they even have a special dish for those allergic to gluten).
I have never had a bad time here, it's the most enjoyable and reliable restaurant/pub I have ever been to.
