The Pantry Restaurant & Deli was founded by Joe and three friends of the family in 1978. The original partners later sold out to Joe and family. The owners and staff are proud of their long tradition of culinary excellence and personal involvement in every facet of the business, and that tradition inspires their loyal patrons. Their breakfast menu is particularly special, and on weekends, long lines wait for the opportunity to order their renowned fresh fruit crepes and “out-of-this-world” baked apple pancakes, that resemble small deep-dish pizzas. Pile some real whipped cream on these gourmet treats and you will experience perfection. The Pantry is located on Van Dyke between 14 and 15 mile and is only open for breakfast and lunch. Don't forget to visit their other location at 39 N. Main in Mt. Clemens. (the pancakes can be taken out for a super home treat as well.)

Best Breakfast and Lunch ever! All Pancakes and Omelettes are Great, but especially love the Pecan Pancakes and Apple Pancakes. Wish you were open for dinner, too!

We love the "surprises"; banana nut, peach, pineapple. The cheese omelletes are outstanding, as well as the service and "homey" atmosphere!

Have been going to the original location for over twenty (20) years. Friendly atmosphere, wait staff is outstanding and the food consistently exceeds expectations. Usually a line, but the wait is worth it judging by the number of repeat customers always in the restaurant. For a unique breakfast experience, the Pantry is highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous for Sunday morning breakfast. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The restaurant is fairly small but you are often seated quickly and its worth the wait. I've never had a more delicious omelet.

One of the worst breakfasts I ever had. Fried potatoes were too crispy to eat. Omelets below average. I was deceived by all these good reviews. Waitress OK but not friendly. If this is the best in town, eat in a different town.

This is an extraordinary restaurant. The food is always wonderful and everyone there is warm and friendly. There is no better places to go for breakfast or any other meal, everything is great. Me and my girls frequent there often and we will always be back.

The food was above average, the service was average. The posted political diatribes on the way in would be amusing, until you discover that merely by eating there you are financing their fanatical view. This is offensive. It would be noble if the owner was taking it out of profits or ther own salaries, but they instead they inflate their prices.

My husband and I went to the Pantry Resaurant in Mt. Clemens for breakfast one day. The food was excellent!!! My hubby had an apple pancake, it was huge! Enough for two people to share. I would recommend to call the order in for the apple pancake. It takes 30 minutes to cook. Longer wait on the weekends, but worth the wait!
