Absolutely wonderful productions all season...best actors, use of space, and the people who work there are great!
An intimate setting, stellar directing, top-notch professional actors and always stunning set design ... the Lyric Stage Company has got it all!
I live in Valley Stream, New York. I came to Boston to see some plays at The Lyric Stage Company. I was overwhelmingly pleased by their production of "The Goat" by Edward Albee.
I have had a series subscription since 1998-99, and have been happy to watch the growth of the Lyric. Each season's schedule has something to please and challenge the new and experienced theatre-goer. Staff are enthusiastic and professional. I expect to be a supporting member for many years.
The Lyric Stage Company offers a wonderful variety of productions featuring LOCAL professionals!! The Lyric represents the best of true Bostonian theatre!
I have been a subscriber there for several years, and have enjoyed the consistent high quality of their productions. They use the intimate nature of the theater to its best advantage.
It truly represents local people in the arts...writers, directors, actors. It is innovative and takes risks. It IS Boston's Off Broadway. It is affordable and reaches out to the community, making theater affordable to all.
Great theatre at reasonable prices! And plays not seen elsewhere with area actors and production assistance.
Intimacy, quality of production, friendly staff, reasonable prices, student rush
Everything about the Lyric is personal and friendly; the seasons ticket prices are excellent; their offerings are thoroughly enjoyable and so well performed. Spiro Veloudos is a master at bringing some wonderful offerings to the Lyric Stage.
