Welcome to the Lark, one of the most renowned and celebrated restaurants in the midwest. Located in West Bloomfield, Michigan, The Lark offers a quiet, peaceful setting overlooking a walled garden with a fountain, outdoor grill and grape trellis. The decor is that of an elegant southern European country inn. Our cuisine is eclectic and distinctive, created with French cooking techniques.

The very best hidden gem in the Detroit area. I can not explain how wonderful our experience was at the Lark.
The Lark is undoubtly one of the finest restaurants in the country. This establishment is one of those rare gems that has raised the entire dining experience into an art form. Having dined at some of the most highly regarded restaurants both in the USA and abroad, the Lark is one to which I always return.
Best food, salads, all the way through dessert - best service - classy atmosphere.
Not only elegant. . . but truly a special evening. The hosts are gracious, the food spectacular and the service second to none.
My wife and I have enjoyed nearly 20 years dinning at the Lark for our anniversary and loved each and every meal as well as the terrific ambiance.
Best food; best service; best ambiance; PERFECT in every way. Very expensive, but worth it.
My husband and I spent our anniversaries there because it was intimate and the food was so special.
Client seating is limited so you are not in a crowded, noisy place. Food is wonderful. Service is beyond comparison, fast but you never sense the staff is lingering around you. They do what they have to do and are gone in the wink of an eye!
My hubby Dan & I have spent many an evening celebrating an anniversary & birthday at the Lark .
We have been visiting The Lark since it opened 26 years ago. It is one of the best if not the best restaurant in the Tri-county area, hence the Hour Magazine Best of 2007 award. Always consistent quality and excellent service and the theme dinners are a special favorite of ours.
Congratulations to Jim, Mary and Adrian Lark, Chef John Somerville and all the staff.
