The Houndstooth Sports Bar opened its doors in July 1988 at 1300 University Blvd. in Tuscaloosa, AL. Since that time we have been named the #1 College Sports Bar and the #14 Sports Bar in the Nation by a special ESPN poll in 2005. We strive to present a comfortable and friendly atmosphere with the best drinks and coldest beer in town. We now have over 30 flat screen TV's located throughout the bar, 4 pool tables, 2 dart boards, 2 Golfing Machines and 2 computerized gaming machines. On game days and during special events we have a portable bar and another stocked full service bar in our Pool Room. We also have a bar and seating on our patio with plenty of TV's so you won't miss that key play during the game. We even have TV's in our restroom facilities - as ESPN puts it "wall to stall" viewing pleasure.
