A Pretty Much World Famous Dive. The Hole is just that. A Hole… in the ground. You access the bar by descending an ancient concrete stairwell to an outdoor tropical patio. At once you are transported to an exotic spot reminiscent of an old Bogart and Bacall movie. Relaxing Dive with a great outdoor patio and classic tropical ambiance. Everyone Welcom in The Hole

Really the best Sunday beer bust in the whole of So CA.
The Hole is a great local bar since it is in the center of the beach communities. Yes, I support it more as a Gay Bar, but it ranks high in the over-all San Diego bar scene:-)
