It's a unique gem, not just for the Detroit area, but in the world of curtural attractions. You'll never find another place quite like it!
How can you go wrong here! Such history mixed in with actually living the history in the Village. Eating at the tavern, such atmosphere! Always bring my out of town guests!
68 yr old male and I am thrilled to be a part of a wonderful organization!!
clean, well kept and all workers paid and vounteer are highly motivated and a joy to be associated with.
I have to admit that I used to think The Henry Ford was kind of a boring place. But they put all those millions of dollars into it a few years ago and now . . . well, I find it one of the most interesting places in metro Detroit. When guests come from out of town, it's one of the must-see stops.
I love it! The Henry Ford has a lot of history! History is a very important learning tool for young and old! It's a great place to learn!
we have an annual membership and visit at least 7 or 8 times each year - we love to experience every season and holiday there
My family loves spending time at the Henry Ford, learning, and also getting exercise!
i like the museum because it has a great hands on approach every turn u make its like going back in time a from the rosa parks bus to the model T's . There are a lot of great and exciting memories you can create with you family. The Chocolate Experience was one of my great memories, the wonderful history, and tasting of the chocolate was even better.
I never get bored with the Henry Ford--so much to see and do. Absolutely love Greenfield Village--a great place to just stroll around and see as much or as little as you like.
Hands down one of the best museums in the world. It is up there with the Smithsonian. The Henry Ford is in a league of its own!
I have been going to the Henry Ford for almost twenty years now, and it has never lost it's charm. Stepping back into another time, one feels enveloped with a sense of splendor, as could have been felt by those who actually sat on the many porches that grace the Village, or steered the wheels of the different automobiles that are housed in the Museum. Whether you're a fan of architecture, aviation, jewelry, memorabilia, or even farm animals, The Henry Ford delivers.
Great place!! Loved the chocolate shop that goes with the chocolate exhibit! The gift shops are wonderful.
I love this place. Great, clean, & afforable. Best food, staff, & overall amazing place. Truly a treasure. I take my 2 boys monthly can not say enough of how wonderful it is.
An amazing place to visit. My husband and I had a membership last year and went once to twice a week, and NEVER got bored! I've learned so much!
Best kept secret in MI. The Henry Ford and especially the Greenfield Village are the two of the best historical sites in the world (and I've live all over it)!!!!!!!!! I wish I had know about this place when I was a kid!!! I tell EVERYONE how great this place is!
It's not just a museum. The Henry Ford offers living history. An actual working village just as it was. The staff couldn't be nicer, or the museum more informative, the Imax more impressive, or the grass greener outside.
We have been members of the Henry Ford for about a decade. We go often and there is always something going on. Never a boring time and the food is great too!
Just to name a few amazing people featured at The Henry Ford...Thomas Edison (invented more than just the light bulb, a brilliant man), George Washington Carver (a genius of agriculture), and obviously Henry Ford. You can walk around and learn or just enjoy the sights and open air in the village. A must-have membership for anyone. You won't be sorry. (Get the ride pass too!!! Worth every penny...)
I've been going to the Village since I was a child. Now I like taking my daughter to learn about our history! I haven't been to the Museum since I was a child and need to take my daughter.
We are so lucky to have this historical site so close to home. It has so much to offer the family.
There is absolutely no other museum in Michigan that compares to what Henry Ford Greenfield Village has to offer.
