The Hazlehurst House is an 1829 antebellum house with an attached ballroom and covered veranda nestled on 3 acres in the Historic district of downtown McDonough--we also have a gazebo in the gardens for spectacular outside weddings! We are a premiere full service events venue. Our goal as a "Special Event Facility" is to provide first class service to all of our brides and to make her day completely stress free. We go to great lengths to ensure that all needs are met and that your family and friends have a wonderful time celebrating "Your Day."

GREAT PLACE!! My wedding was held here last month, food was great, service 5 star, the flowers were beautiful. The DJs had the party going. My event planner listened to what I wanted and made it happen! A BEAUTIFUL venue!

The Hazlehurst House is the perfect place to get married because they take care of everything. I am so busy with a new career and a new house, I haven't had to worry about anything! Leslie and her team have made something that could be so stressful into a time for me to focus on everything else going on in my life!

After hurricane Ivan we had a month to relocate our daughter's wedding. They were angels in helping us get this wonderful blessed event organized.

We are planning our daughter's wedding for Dec. 8th. 2007 at The Hazelhurst House. Felicia and Leslie have been wonderful to work with from the very beginning. Both Felicia and Leslie has made the planning stress free. There are so many things to worry about in making your daughter's wedding special that they have taken much of the burden away with their professionalism and handling of the planning for us. We are looking forward to the big day and know that we can depend on the staff at The Hazelhurst House.

My wedding is September 1st. And they have been so helpful! I havent had the stress the comes with finding all of your vendors and everything else. The Hazlehurst House does everything down to your invitations. I love this place and not to mention the house itself is beautiful!!! I have told several people about this venue!

What makes the Hazlehurst House more than just a beautiful, elegant venue that is the epitome of southern charm is the caliber of the people who own, operate, manage and serve at the events held there. The Hazlehurst House helps take all the worry out of wedding planning by single-handedly arranging and providing all the services a wedding requires like decor, catering, cake, etc. in a neat little package. With someone making sure all details are taken care of, all the bride has to do is give her opinion and taste to suit! Sales Manager Leslie, who is also acting as coordinator for my wedding in September, is nothing less than stellar. She ensures that all details are met so a bride can simply enjoy her wedding day. Leslie has always made herself accessible and is happy to field a nervous bride's concerns whenever necessary. The entire staff is friendly and they exude a type of closeness among each other and with the people they serve that feels much like family. Its a no brainer, Hazlehurst House will not disappoint!
