The GetUp is not only a spectacular & independent little attic shoppe but it also has super amazing friendly owners, freakin' magestic/magical retro jewels, remarkable old gems for dresses, and an unbeatable ambience. Th Getup is without a doubt the best and most reasonably priced vintage store in the area. They stock with tons and tons of ALWAYS original, beautiful, authentic items from dealers and estate sales (NOT the Goodwill!), and there's just no comparison for price. They make every other store seem inflated!

The GetUp is an amazing Vintage store run by two of the nicest, most caring lovers of Vintage clothing. If you don't find what you're looking for (which is incredibly rare as they are always well-stocked and incredibly reasonably priced), the owners will do their best to hunt for whatever it is you're looking for. It's great stuff and all handpicked with care. If you haven't been, go, you won't be disappointed!

The Get-Up has simply the best vintage clothing in all of Detroit. The owners put their all into making sure they carry the most quality vintage products no matter how far they have to travel to get them. They work hard to develop lasting relationships with customers who continue to come back again and again; if a customer is looking for a certain thing, they will even try to find that thing for the customer on their buys. The Get-Up is more than a vintage store. It's a haven for those who truly appreciate the importance and magic of vintage.

Every year my business has an annual 70's party. The past 3 years we go to The Get-up to get our proper attire. They have a very helpful and friendly staff who put together fun outfits for the entire event. All the men look fly and the women look foxy. They also help us with our golf outings and bowling tournaments. Our parties wouldn't be as fun if it weren't for The get-up vintage.

The Getup has a warm and playful vibe that doesn't take itself too seriously. The staff is always cheery and helpful, not to mention extremely knowledgable about the store's inventory and the history of each garment. I have a thing for the 50's and The Getup is my go to place for a new outfit. This whimsical store gets my vote!

The Get-Up is honestly, THE BEST place in the Ann Arbor/Metro Detroit area to buy and sell vintage gear! I'd be remiss to mention that the owners are bar none the friendliest and most fun shop keeps in town.

When you first walk up the stairs you see a lot of trendy vintage from the 70's and 80's. The stuff hipster kids rock. as you travel to the back of the store, you notice the era's getting older. I see garments there all the time from the 20's,30's 40's and 50's that true vintage collectors would give an arm and a leg for. These things would last 1 day in L.A. or New york. The Getup IS what larger vintage shops should be!

I was so impressed with this place! The stuff is great -- selection, quality, lots of unique things -- and organized so you want to browse but if you're looking for something special it won't take all day to find. The staff is warm, super friendly, and extremely helpful! If you haven't been there, you have GOT to go!

I thought I was the only one that knew about this place. It's a great little store loaded with authentic vintage pieces. I just bought a pair of killer heels for next to nothing. They have the BEST costume jewelry and the sweet shop owner knows everyone by name.

The owners of the Getup are the nicest two people in the world. They are passionate about vintage clothes and sincerely love to help people find something unique for themselves. Plus the store is a character all on its own. It's like going into an attic in some old mansion. You can certainly find lots of treasures here!
