The Bomber Breakfast is not for the faint-hearted. The hearty breakfast of four eggs, a pound of potatoes and a pound of meat is served to hundreds of hungry customers every week at Ypsilanti, Michigan's Bomber Restaurant, and the huge helpings have caught the attention of the Food Network. A film crew spent 5 hours in the restaurant kitchen. Producer Min Lee said she discovered the Bomber Restaurant through an Internet search and immediately knew it was an easy choice for the "Top Five" program on the Food Network. "Top Five is a program about ultimate indulgences. The Bomber was selected because they serve an over-the-top breakfast." The Bomber has a number of popular breakfast entrees including the Nature Lover's pancakes, omelets and the country skillet. But the Bomber Breakfast is a favorite pick for customers with super-sized appetites.

Great food! Favorite is nature lover's pancakes. Love the surrounding history of WWII memorabilia and our connection with building the bomber airplanes. Very interesting, economy priced and everyone is so cheerful. A must visit.

The Bomber Restaurant has great home cooked meals. We usually go there for breakfast. It doesn't matter how hungry you are, they have something reasonably priced on the menu for your appeptite. Their food is really good, and the staff is very down-to-earth and friendly.

A former restaurant critic for a city magazine, I eat breakfast and the occasional lunch at the Bomber whenever I'm in town; usually, it's soft-scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes cooked crunchy, and iced coffee. Occasionally, it'll be something entirely different, like the fried balony sandwich on rye with mayo, mustard and a thin slice of tomato.
I've never yet had a bad meal in the Bomber. I've never even had an indifferent one: They have delivered every single time. I'm on the road a lot, all over the country, and this place is a genuine find that doesn't try to be cute. Cute gets old; the Bomber never does.

The Bomber is a great littl restaurant! It's a family like atmosphere, great for a relaxing breakfast in the morning. Try an omlette or the country skillet!

My girlfriend is a long time Ypsi native and drove me over there one morning a few months back. After taking in the Willow Run Bomber Factory decor I settled in for one heckuva a great breakfast. Keep in mind that the portions are meant for grizzly bears and not for the average human. If you like pancakes, start with the silver dollars.

I discovered The Bomber about 5 years ago when working in the Ypsilanti area. Whenever I am in the area now I eat breakfast, lunch or dinner there and have always had an exceptional meal. Wow! What an omelet!

Bomber not only has the best food, but they have great service, and an awesome bunch of friendly people working there. Anyone who hasn't tried it should just drive on downtown ypsi for breakfast or lunch and try it out. You'll love it too.

With several Breakfasts under $5 it's easy on the wallet. I have yet to try thier lunch menu because the breakfast is SOOO good. My husband and I go almost every week. The waitresses are freindly and fast.

The name speaks for it self.They have great food and very good service.The owners are always hands on with everthing going on and the over all service is a very good welcome and it gives you a home feeling.In my opinion I rate them a10. I promise you will get your moneys worth and go home with lots of food.

The Bomber restaurant is by far the BEST restaurant around the Ypsilanti area. The owners and all the employees are friendly and the service is great. The food is very good and the portions are huge! You will not leave here hungry!

The Bomber restaurant is a Great place for a wide variety of Plate filling food for the big appetite. This food will stick to you ribs! and hold you over all day. Great service and history with memorabilia from the old Bomber plant everywhere the Bomber is worth the drive.

If you're the kind of person that thinks they can finish the biggest thing on the menu, think again!!! The Bomber Breakfast is more food than anyone I know can eat, and I've seen a lot of people try. Huge portions at a great price!!!

Excellent food and service. Great place for individuals, couples, small groups, and larger groups. Memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Best breakfast burrito anywhere! (My favorite.) Lots of regular diners add character. Not a place to go if you want boilerplate dining. Bring your appetite or ask for a doggie bag. You will never be disappointed here.

There isn't any kind of breakfast you can't get at the Bomber. If it's not on the menu, ask. However, nothing can beat their Nature Lovers' Pancake or eggs done to perfection, or oatmeal, or skillets, or......I could keep going forever!

Try the Nature Lover's Pancakes or one of their terrific omelettes. Have some of the best coffee anywhere. No one goes away hungry.
