Show details What's your take?After 20 years of working for the man, brothers Roger and Tom Evans' dream came to fruition when The 219 opened its doors on July 18, 1997. Roger's mother-in-law, Marilyn Heilig, created a menu and several signature dishes that would rank her among the most highly touted chefs in Hampton Roads. Her softball-sized jumbo lump crab cake is quite possibly the best you'll ever have. Yeah, yeah, we know everyone says that, but you'll just have to taste for yourself.
