Tea & Traditions, the 2007 Hot List Winner for Best Tea House in Atlanta, was established in February, 2000 and is owned Pamela Strother Downs, a native and current resident of Marietta, Georgia. The mission of Tea & Traditions is: To provide excellent teas and products to enable individuals to create memorable teatime experiences in their own homes. To inform and educate about the history, customs, etiquette and drinking of tea. To celebrate and preserve the traditions of the families of Marietta and Cobb County. To promote tourist interest in and appreciation for the historical and cultural significance of Marietta and Cobb County.

I have always been a patron for teas and loved the scones and afternoon tea. After I retired, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. The ladies at Tea & Tradions went all out to find the teas that would sooth me during my radiation and chemo. They went the extra mile for me and I will always cherish their kindness

A lovely way to spend a serene afternoon, the tea and traditions tearoom is reminiscent of being in a beautiful home. The tea and scones are delicious too!

Tea & Traditions is the best in ambiance, education, delightful employees, special sales, and varieties of tea. When my daughter and I were exhausted one weekend from wedding plans and shopping, we stopped in and the atmosphere, tea, scones were just so absolutely refreshing it was hard to put into words! A definite place you must visit if you even think you like tea!!!

Tea & Traditions is a fantastic tea spot. Not only do you enjoy a delicious cup of tea in a cozy corner, but are educated with various newsletters and classes. The ladies that work there are always friendly, helpful and often have "pearls of wisdom" to shared with their clientele.

From the day Tea and Traditions opened the ladies have served delicious tea with hospitality and amazing knowledge. Upon entering you are greeted with a warm reception that draws you into a relaxed and gracious atmosphere. There are so many teas, you could try a new one each visit or find a favorite and savor it daily. The classes are a great way to bring the joy of tea drinking into your home and extend tea drinking as a form of tradition in your own home. Most of the ladies know my favorite way to take tea and are happy to help in any way. Thank you Tea and Traditions.

They are amazing! The tea is great, and so are the tea smoothies. My friends and I go all the time after school. It's a great place to chill out after a stressful day, and it's great tea for a great price!

They have a phenomenal assortment of teas and daily specials of hot and cold teas that you can take to-go. They'll also make you any tea from their selection--iced or cold/with or without sugar. We make Tea & Traditions a Saturday morning ritual. The scones and cream are a treat.

They make amazing tea which, coupled with their amazing service, makes it one of my favorite places to hang out. Its gotten popular with some of my Marietta High School friends, and it's getting more popular all the time.

Cozy, friendly atmosphere a refuge from the outside world. Nice gift selection and gift wrapping available in lovely papers. Hot tea and scones are beautifully presented. Delicious frozen tea-based smoothies are refreshing on hot summer days.

Tea & Traditions has a great atmosphere and even better tea! The selection is extensive and everything I've had so far has been great. I'm in high school, and you wouldn't normally picture a bunch of high school seniors going to a tea shop, but several of us do. It's a friendly, fantastic place to sit, sip some tea, and have a chat.

Tea and Traditions has a calming and welcoming atmosphere. The ladies who run it, are knowledgeable about tea and the many traditions that go along with the experience. They are also master brewers and the variety of their teas is to die for.
