Haven't been able to go for awhile due to geographic location-but from past experience, the Taproot Theater is truly one of the best in the area!

My wife and I have enjoyed Taproot Theatre for more than 30 years. Our family has been season ticket holders numerous years, often including our 5 children and others. Taproot Theatre is one of Seattle's Best Treasures! Yes, it's the Best of Western Washington!

Taproot continues to achieve acting excellence, a wide range of play content AND there's not a bad seat in the house! The theatre feels like the hub of the community when a play is in progress. Be prepared to enter the theatre as a guest but leave a friend!

Truly amazing. We've held season tickets for many years and have never been disappointed! Whether we've laughed or cried or had to think through a problem or look deep in our hearts, we've always felt that the players pulled us in to the play. We became involved. We love the intimate setting and the really good acting.

Taproot never fails to deliver a great show. It's refreshing to go and not have to worry about vulgar themes in the shows they choose to produce.
A great place for a date with your sweetie pie, or even to take your older kids and expose them to some fabulous local talent... Check it out for yourself! Scott Nolte does a great job with this theater group!

Their intimate space takes the audience on the jouney with actors, not as observers, but as participants. You believe so fully in the world of the play, you forget you're even watching one. Their productions are of the highest quality and originality!

The way Taproot is so involved in the community is unique to any other theatre I have ever heard of. Beyond the magnificent main stage productions that they consistently put out, they offer child, youth, and adults acting class, community touring shows, and even educational touring shows. Taproot is by far the best Theatre in Western Washington!
