I had heard good things and decided to stop in and try it out. There was a 10 minute wait so we sat down at the bar and ordered sangria. Maybe they should rethink the open kitchen -- the bartender proceeded to fill up our cups more than 3/4 full of sprite and ice and then ladled a pitifully small spoonful of their wine/fruit mixture. Now I understand that this is often how sangria is made, but this tasted like sprite with cranberry juice. To make matters worse, a different bartender made another glass 2 minutes later by filling the cup up with the wine/fruit 3/4 and topping it off with sprite. For $8 a cup I felt cheated. When my co-diner commented, the bartender said in a very condescending tone "that's how its done, honey" -- we didn't stay for dinner.
This is REAL tapas -- grown up. The owners are in the open kitchen, pouring you wine at the bar. There's a reason it's crowded!
