Was invited to Sushi Deli by some friends at UCSD, had never been there before. The sushi is very fresh and the price is good. Wasn't down with the ambience though-the restaurant was a little dark/dank for my tastes.

Great tasting sushi that is unbelievably cheap for the quality and variety. Started in a hole in the wall on Broadway, east of their more well known Sushi Deli 2 by Spreckles theater. They have since moved to a better location in Mission Hills and there is always a line outside the door. It is also convenient to order ahead and take it home to avoid the wait.
