Since its opening in 1994, Stephanie's has been an institution in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. The upscale Newbury Street location offers shoppers, tourists, business travelers and locals a hearty meal in a cozy banquette or street-side with a perfect view for people-watching. Owner Stephanie Sokolove serves ”sophisticated comfort food” in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 3:00 pm - Lunch 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - ”Lighter Fare” 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Dinner Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - Lunch 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - ”Lighter Fare” 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Dinner Sunday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm - Brunch 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - ”Lighter Fare” 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Dinner Our bar is open until 12 midnight daily.

Fantastic and reasonably priced comfort food in a location that simply cannot be beat. Stephanie's doesn't have a defined ambiance, it's just kind of a place where people can go and enjoy food and each other with no frills. For dinner, the warm brioche goat cheese, pecan and pear salad is a must. The wait for brunch can be a while, but the food is always worth it.

Delicious brunch, great atmosphere and service. The stuffed French toast and Eggs Benedict are my two favorites...
When my husband asked what I wanted to do for Easter I said, "Let's go to Stepanie's!!" Always great food and service.

Stephanie's on Newbury consistently provides quality food, service, and atmosphere. The menu is unique and interesting without being too out there and offers something for everyone. The salads, in particular, offer a great variety. As someone who has traveled around the country eatting at great restaurants, Stephanie's rates as one of the best by far. How lucky that it is in my home town!

This restaurant is welcoming and elegant at the same time!!! As a visitor to Boston my husband and I have eaten here twice and have enjoyed their home cooked favorites and their specialties too. We look forward to returning on our next visit and always recommend Stephanie's to friends and family traveling to Boston. Stephanie's can't be beat for good service, pleasant helpful waitstaff, and delicious food.
