Stel's clothing store carries brands like Black Black, Band of Outsiders, and Seize Sur Vingt. These are designers that clothe musicians like Beck and Weezer -- and Black Black considers its clothing wearable art. So that's the idea. It's not your standard button down and suit place. The website provides a small sample of the store's inventory so you'll need to swing by their Newbury Street location.

Items at Stel's seem to be hand selected, and Stel's fills a void in Boston for more cutting edge, high-end boutiques where you can buy a piece of clothing for hundreds or for less than $50. They also have great sales where nearly the entire store is practically 50% off. and this gives a lot of people a chance to own brands that they never could before. Aside from all this, the store just looks great.

Stylish, interesting, creative looks that somehow remain timeless and classic even though they are cutting edge. Just feminine enough without being girly. Awesome fabric necklaces you won't find anywhere else in Boston.

A beautiful modern yet classic store, the clothing is exquisite and well made, wonderful selection to choose from for both men & woman, the store is amazingly merchandised, the staff is very pleasant. the atmosphere of the overall store is very welcoming and comfortable. It is my favorite store to shop in Boston.
