Today Southern Sweets has a large list of restaurants and companies for whom we currently provide desserts. So when you familiarize yourself with all of our delectable treats, you will be able to spot the signature of Southern Sweets all over town. Open to the retail public since 1992, now our individual customers can purchase their favorites in a casual, friendly atmosphere, along with their favorite sandwich or soup. Shipping is planned for the near future. Just as when grandmother and granddaughter stood side by side at the preparation counter, this is a family-run business. If we are lucky enough to get your visit, you will find someone happy to greet you at the front door. And in the back you will find our ovens at full march as they bring the wonderful mixtures to life.

Simply the best cakes, pies and cookies around. They also serve a wonderful lunch if you want to dine in. Southern Sweets did our wedding cake last month, and not only was the cake phenomenal, their customer service was very good.
Although Southern Sweets has an off-the-beaten-path location (a quasi-industrial park across the street from DeKalb Farmer's Market), it is very accessible for Atlantans on the east side of town.
Southern Sweets is in the highest league of Atlanta bakeries (up there with Alon's and Star Provisions), though they focus more on honest-to-goodness cakes, pies and cookies than gourmet desserts (such as fruit tarts).
