They present a well rounded history of not only the civil war but the industrial revolution. They have a fantastic program for visiting school children as well as seniors. 44,000 sq. ft museum contains tons of interesting Civil War artifacts, a locomotive factory reproduction and, of course, the General from the Great Locomotive Chase. Interesting and informative movie about the chase is also shown.

The museum makes a genuine effort to always have something new for its visitors and the most recent exhibition, "Portraits in Gray: A Civil War Photography exhibition" is great! They also put on some exciting programs throughout the year.
Every display is presented in an excellent manner, is authentic and interesting.
Impressive is the only word I can think of for this museum. A great legacy to the steam rail era and the role the Cobb community played in it.
