This establishment has private parking and signage that states this information. It fails to mention that once you enter the business you must get a parking pass to be allowed to stay without recourse. The recourse is having a wheel boot put on your vehicle and a fee of $50 paid to have it removed. The person that is authorized to put on the boot is obviously a personal friend of the owner and this is some sort of coercion they have going. The booter puts a flyer on your car informing you that you have been tagged and to become untagged you must pay the $50 ransom to be freed. There is no legitimate business information and the phone number is a Suncom cell phone. It appears that the person tags the car upon your arrival and not the allowed one hour that is stated inside the coffeshop. When the unsuspecting patron leaves the business they must then pay the piper. Yes, this happened to me and no I didn't pay the ransom. I refused and demanded to have the boot removed. The owner defended this action and stated she stood by the booter. It is obvious that they are in this together and taking advantage of people who don't know their rights. SO IN CONCLUSION, IF YOU DO BUSINESS HERE IT MAY COST YOU MORE THAN A CUP OF COFFEE. BEWARE!!!!!!!
