Salon Shimon is for those who have finally grown out of the amatuer cuts that are a dime a dozen at the Newbury Street salons. Shimon is a seasoned master of his trade. I generally have my hair done in New York (Oscar Blandi), but in Boston it's all Shimon's. He'll fuss over every tress until he's satisfied. It's the only place in Boston where, when asked what I want, my response is: "Whatever you think is best," and I'm not sorry I said it.
If you're serious about your hair, so is Salon Shimon.

Shimon has an eye for color and is able to create a natural look for me. He has been cutting and coloring my hair for years. I won't let anyone do it!

Perfect combination of talent and caring for the customer. I recently tried Umi salon as well. While I liked my cut, my experience to date there has left me feeling like they could care less about keeping a customer. Not only does Shimon care about his customer, he has an incredibly talented team to make you look and feel beautiful. And I always do when I leave his salon.

Shimon has been doing my hair for 5 years. If he moves, I move. He is absolutely brilliant, as is his warm, gracious staff. I send all my friends to them.
