It all began in 1965 when Dan and Chrissy Anthony and Henry Reed opened the first Sea Island Shrimp House in San Antonio. Even then, just like now, it wasn’t about frills and fancy napkins. It was (and still is) about food. Fresh from the Gulf, fallin' off the edge of your plate food - everything from Texas Gulf shrimp and government certified Texas Gulf oysters to a wide variety of fish, including Texas Gulf flounder and Texas Gulf red snapper. And don’t forget our mouthwatering, tender steaks – USDA Choice T-Bones and New York strips are all grilled to order.
