The Satin Strings Quartet was formed in 1984 by four professional musicians playing together in various orchestras such as the Portland Chamber Orchestra, the Columbia Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Portland Opera and the Oregon Ballet Theater. Theirs was the featured quartet at the Greater Portland Bridal Faire for several years. This versatile group of musicians features the traditional trio or quartet of one or two violins, plus a viola and cello. You may substitute a flute for a violin.
